Say hello to the Michelin CrossClimate Camping – the high-performance, all-season tyre designed specifically for motorhomes and campervans. As the demand for staycations has increased during the coronavirus pandemic, it comes as no surprise that industry giant Michelin would seek to meet the increase in demand with an increase in quality and reset the bar for motorhome and campervan tyres. Over 16,000 new motorhomes were registered from July 2020 to June 2021 in the UK alone. This shows a clear demand for safe, high-quality, high-performance motorhome tyres.

Reliability Above All Else

With strong handling in both wet and dry conditions, the CrossClimate Camping will brave the elements no matter the weather. As an all-season tyre, it is designed to accompany motorhome owners on each and every type of adventure. Further adding to its reliability is the tyre’s abrasion resistant tread compound which fortifies the tyre and adds a layer of durability. It has been developed based on truck technology. This is important due to the unpredictability of the weather in certain locations and helps to keep the tyre in good shape. Not only this, but the tyre also comes complete with CP marked reinforced casing. This is because of the nature of campervans and motorhomes to be parked up for extended periods of time. The reinforced casing ensures that the tyre retains its properties and will be ready to move and continue the adventure from the word go.

Exceptional Safety in Harsh Conditions

As well as being an extremely durable tyre, the Michelin CrossClimate Camper is also exceptionally safe – especially in winter conditions. It has a 3PMSF certification for traction, braking and grip when driving in the snow. This is also set to guarantee peace of mind when travelling from the first mile to the last. However, it has also been engineered to provide optimal traction on grass, mud and gravel. This enables motorhome owners to enjoy more journeys, weekend getaways and family holidays with fewer limits. With this in mind, it is easy to see why the CrossClimate Camper promises to set a new standard for motorhome and campervan tyres.
