They have conducted a survey whose findings shed light on the potential risks and consequences of neglecting tyre maintenance, urging us all to re-evaluate our attitudes towards this critical aspect of road safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Did you know that tyres are the only contact points between your vehicle and the road? Despite this crucial role, many motorists fail to recognise the significance of tyres in ensuring their safety and that of others on the road. Startlingly, Bridgestone\u2019s survey revealed that a majority of drivers (76%) considered airbags to be more important than tyres. However, in 2021 alone, tyres were responsible for a staggering 491 casualties and 12 deaths. Furthermore, a mere 31% of drivers considered themselves well-informed about road safety matters.
