Goodyear launches the newest member of Eagle F1 family, this summer tyre offers ultra-high performance for both wet and dry roads means you are ready for anything. The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 has been developed with new technology to increase outright grip without compromising on rolling resistance. Designed to work across a varied selection of car types including saloons, hatchbacks, compact sports cars and electric vehicles. With many innovative features this tyre is designed to both reassure drivers with it’s wet braking and handling abilities. As well as excite with it’s exceptional dry performance and sporty signature.
The Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 has improved dry performance with the new adaptation of the contact patch technology. This technology enhances the size of the tyre’s contact patch that adapts to load variations and increases the contact between rubber and tarmac and adapts to the driving style. This is due to changes in the resin used in it’s compound which helps better the rolling resistance and produces high wear rates, giving the driver more grip and better responsiveness to extreme manoeuvres.

In addition to the improved dry performance, the latest Eagle F1 has been constructed with a noise-cancelling pattern to decrease noise levels compared with the previous Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5, making it ideal for electric vehicles. This summer tyre will be accessible in January of 2022 and rolled out in 28 sizes with additional sizes added to the range throughout the year taking it to a total of 65 sizes.
