Warranty FAQs
A car warranty helps protect you from the costs of unexpected repairs. As modern vehicles become more technologically advanced, mechanical and electrical components are increasingly expensive to fix. An extended car warranty provides peace of mind and financial protection, helping you avoid large repair bills.
If you discover a fault with your vehicle, please follow the steps outlined in your plan document. All claims are managed by our expert engineers, who will assist with all aspects of fault diagnosis and approving repairs.
You should not proceed with any repairs without prior approval, or this may result in your claim being rejected. Our administrators need time to check part and labour costs, and ensure a fair evaluation is given.
An extended car warranty provides cover once your manufacturer warranty has expired. It helps reduce the risk of unexpected repair costs by covering sudden mechanical and electrical failures.
Services are generally not included in a car warranty. Services will need to be purchased separately from your warranty plan. Note, all warranty providers require you to maintain your vehicle according to it’s manufacturer service schedules to keep your warranty valid. Having an invalid MOT or missed service may result in your warranty being invalid.
A car warranty does not cover accidental damage, as this would be covered by your main motor insurance provider.
It also does not cover wear and tear or service items such as but not limited too brake pads, batteries, tyres, wiper blades, filters and clutch plates.
